Managing Data Tables
Marrow keeps source data readable and traceable so your team can investigate performance without changing upstream systems.
Synced tables
Synced tables are maintained by Marrow from the commerce, advertising, and analytics connections you authorize. Use them as the source of truth for current reporting, and check Data Explorer when a table looks incomplete or stale.
Manual tables
Use manual tables for small, controlled inputs that do not exist in a connected platform—such as targets, internal mappings, or planning assumptions. Name columns clearly, record the owner, and document the refresh cadence.
Do not store secrets, credentials, or unnecessary personal data in manual tables.
Good operating practice
- Keep the table purpose and owner clear.
- Use stable identifiers when joining to synced data.
- Verify timezone and reporting period before comparing metrics.
- Validate major changes in Data Explorer before relying on a result.
When you need an AI client to analyze a table, connect it through Marrow MCP so access remains read-only and auditable.
